  1. "CHICAGO— U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez told a group of Immigration reform supporters on Saturday he's not sure he could back President Barack Obama in 2012 if he doesn't step up efforts to change deportation policy and education opportunities for illegal students.

Speaking to a large crowd at Lincoln United Methodist Church in Chicago, the Democratic Illinois congressman said Obama should use his executive power to enact policy that stops the deportation of people with children who are U.S. citizens.

"I have nothing but the greatest desire to vote for Barack Obama. I have nothing but the greatest desire to be helpful, and to join arms with him, and march across this country toward his re-election," Gutierrez said. "But I cannot do that. We cannot do that, until we resolve the current conflict that exists between this administration and its Immigration policy."

Gutierrez, who is on a multi-city tour, said Latino voters are dissatisfied with Obama's progress on Immigration reform since taking office. He's concerned it will mean smaller voter turnout in 2012....
